Course Description
This course provides an understanding of the physiological responses of the body to the acute and chronic stresses of exercise and training stimuli, and the adaptations and health benefits that result from these. Major topics include energy expenditure,
functions of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, neuromuscular and endocrine systems, and the impact of training, environmental factors, ergogenic aids, nutrition, aging, and body composition on exercise.
